Latham's Web Designs

How it works

01

Tell me about your business

A quick chat or a few messages. What you do, what you want people to do on the site, and any photos you've got.

02

You see a preview first

I build the whole site and send you a link. You look it over on your phone and tell me what to change. Nothing to pay.

03

Go live for £25 a month

Happy with it? Set up the direct debit, I sort your web address, and you're online. I look after it from then on.

What you get

Looks right on a phone

Most of your customers will find you on their phone, so every site is built for the small screen first.

Web address, email and hosting

Your own .co.uk, an address like [email protected] and secure hosting are all in the £25. No separate bills.

Changes whenever you need

New prices, new hours, a new photo: message me and it's done, usually the same day. Included, unlimited.

Bookings and enquiries

Fresha, Treatwell, Calendly, WhatsApp or a quote form, connected to your site.

Found on Google

Page titles, descriptions and a Google Business Profile, so you show up when someone searches locally.

The legal bits done

Privacy policy, cookie notice and company details in the footer, so you're covered.

Does anything cost extra?

One thing: an online shop that takes card payments is +£15 a month, because it needs more looking after.

What if I cancel?

Give me a month's notice and the payments stop. The website comes down at the end of that month. Your web address (the name, such as yourbusiness.co.uk) is passed to you, so you keep it.

Will the price go up?

Not without 60 days' written notice, and never in your first 12 months.

Questions

Do I own the website?

Your business name, photos, words and web address are always yours. The site itself I build, host and look after as part of the plan, which is how I can do it for free up front. If you ever leave, the website comes down and your web address (the name, such as yourbusiness.co.uk) is passed to you, so you keep it.

Can I make changes myself?

These sites don't have an editor to log into, which is part of why they're fast and cheap to run. You message me the change and it's done within a day. If you'd rather edit your own site every week, a Squarespace-style builder might suit you better, and I'll say so.

Can customers book or pay through the site?

Bookings, yes, included: I connect whatever you already use, such as Fresha, Treatwell or Booksy. A full online shop that takes card payments is the one add-on, at £15 a month on top.

How long does it take?

Quicker than you'd think. Most of the time goes on getting your photos and words together. Once I have those, you see the preview before anything goes live.

Do I need to buy a web address?

No, it's included. I register a .co.uk for you and pay the renewals as part of the £25. If you already own one, I'll connect it instead.

How do I pay?

By direct debit, £25 on the same day each month. You set it up in about a minute from a link I send you. No upfront payment, ever.

What if I don't like the preview?

Then you walk away and it's cost you nothing. The preview is free and there's no obligation.
